Cookie Dough Oats Additions and Substitutions
Don’t have quick-cook oats? Use steel-cut oats or overnight oats instead! If you want to add a touch of decadence, add a tablespoon of almond butter. If you’re not a fan of chocolate chips, add cacao nibs on top as a garnish instead! Want to add a boost of protein? Add some plain Greek yogurt or protein powder.
Storage
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days. Add all of the ingredients into a microwave-safe bowl and microwave on high for 60 seconds. Stir and enjoy. PS: I find that stovetop oats come out much more fluffy and delicious compared to a measly 60 seconds in the micro.
