This 3-ingredient pork tenderloin marinade so so scrumptious. Best part? You probably have all of the ingredients on hand. Sweet and salty: if you love a sweet and salty combo, then this marinade is for you. 3-Ingredients: all you need are 3 simple ingredients: soy sauce, bbq sauce, and garlic. Note: this recipe is for 2-lbs. pork tenderloin. We used 2 1-lb. pork tenderloins.
Soy sauce: soy sauce gives this marinade a delicious saltiness. Feel free to use normal soy sauce, low-sodium soy sauce, or tamari (for a gluten-free variation). BBQ sauce: choose your favorite bbq sauce. We prefer a sweeter bbq sauce to balance out the soy sauce, but you can go smokey or salty. Your choice! Minced garlic: when in doubt, add garlic.

How Long to Marinate Pork Tenderloin
Pork tenderloin is best when marinated for at least 4 hours or overnight. If you’re short on time, make sure to marinate your pork for no less than 30-minutes. If you are using a marinade with citrus or vinegar, marinate your pork for max 4 hours. The acidity can break down the pork making it tough and chewy.
Pork Tenderloin Cooking Methods
This truly is the perfect grilled pork tenderloin marinade, but it’s also perfect for baking, the Instant Pot, the sous vide, and every other cook method out there! Here’s a quick synopsis on each of these methods. Grilled: Preheat grill to 400ºF. Grill pork tenderloin over direct heat for around 12 minutes, flipping halfway through. Grill until the internal temperature reaches 145ºF. Check out our Grilled Pork Tenderloin recipe. Baked: Sear pork tenderloin in butter until brown. Then, bake at 400ºF for around 10 minutes, flip, and bake for another 12-16 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 145ºF. Check out our Baked Pork Tenderloin recipe. Instant Pot: Use the sauté feature to sear pork tenderloin for a few minutes on each side to brown. Then, pour chicken broth on top of pork and deglaze the pan. Cook on high pressure for 15 minutes. Sous Vide: Place the pork tenderloin and pork tenderloin marinade into a vacuum sealed bag and remove the air. Heat your water bath to 145ºF and cook pork tenderloin for 3 hours. Can I freeze this pork tenderloin marinade?
Freeze your pork tenderloin directly in the marinade so that you can thaw it and make it anytime. We suggest using a gallon-size plastic bag. When you’re ready to cook it, let it thaw completely and then use your favorite cook-method.
