Aperol Spritz, but Slushies!
Yes, you read that correctly. We’ve turned the famous Aperol spritz into a boozy frozen slushy that you’re going to want to drink all summer long. We know you love our frozen margaritas and wine slushies, so this cocktail recipe is a no-brainer! Made with all of the classic Aperol spritz ingredients, plus a secret frozen fruit — clementines! Read on to learn how to make this drink
Featured Ingredients
Clementines: this recipe calls for frozen clementine slices. So, you’re going to want to make sure you peel and freeze your clementines before you use them! Feel free to use frozen oranges instead. Easy to Make Serves a Crowd Aperol: this bittersweet aperitif is used in the slushies and on top! Simple Syrup: always add simple syrup to taste depending on how sweet you want it. Champagne: it wouldn’t be an Aperol spritz without the champagne. Feel free to use champagne, prosecco, or even a bubbly rosé. Ice: ice is essential for that “slushy” consistency. You don’t want it to be too reminiscent of a smoothie.
Simple Instructions
Tip: try our dried orange garland for a drink topper instead!
Variations
Make it tropical: instead of using frozen clementines, try using a bag of frozen tropical fruit! Blender Add a berry: add in 1/2 cup of frozen berries. Try strawberries, blueberries, or mixed berries. Switch up your simple syrup: feel free to use regular simple syrup or honey simple syrup or agave.
Storage
We don’t recommend re-freezing these slushies, so just make sure you finish it off before the night ends 😀 How to Make Simple Syrup
