They are made with a delicious salted pretzel crust and a creamy, margarita pie filling made with whipped cream, Greek yogurt, and tequila. That’s right, these bars are “spiked” and so delicious! What do margarita pie bars taste like? This delicious dessert is like a combination of a frozen margarita and a creamy key lime pie.

The Filling
The margarita pie filling is a creamy slightly sweet, slightly tangy filling. Here’s what you need:

How to Make Margarita Pie Bars
Make Pretzel Crust
Process pretzels in a high-speed food processor. Add melted butter, vanilla, and agave into the food processor and process until mold the crust in between your fingers.
Bake Crust
Transfer the pretzel crust into an 8×8-inch pan and firmly press it into the bottom with a spatula. Bake at 350ºF for 15 minutes.
Make Filling
Meanwhile, make the margarita pie filling. Combine the Greek yogurt and agave nectar. Then, add tequila, triple sec, lime juice, and lime zest. In a separate bowl, use a hand mixing to turn the whipping cream into whipped cream. Fold the whipped cream with the yogurt mixture and mix until combined.
Transfer Filling & Freeze
Transfer the filling on top of the crust and use a spatula to evenly spread it out. Sprinkle on some lime zest. Place the bars into the freezer to set for at least 3 hours.
Slice & Serve
When you’re ready to serve, remove the pan from the freezer and let sit for a few minutes. Then, use a sharp knife to slice them into bars. Enjoy!
