These shishito peppers taste great when a little charred. I earlier thought these Shishito Peppers are spicy in taste, so I never thought of trying them. But my husband accidentally got them from Trader Joe’s. And after trying them, I was totally addicted to these finger food. I just love making them quite often when it’s hot outside with a big glass of wine. I love them a little charred & love them grill or roast them. They taste great, either sweet or savory with dipping sauce (like aioli, soy sauce, or ranch). Some other Air Fryer Recipes: Air Fried Asparagus, Brussel Sprouts, Air Fried Baked Potato, Paneer Tikka, Caribbean Jerk Veggies, and Buffalo Cauliflower Tacos. You can grill & roast on the stove, but I like the air fryer version. The Air Fryer version is so easy & these peppers can be made in under 10 minutes. These blistered Shishito Peppers are a little sweet, and they go great with some lemon juice & a sprinkle of salt. This is one of the quickest snacks ever & not to mention healthy with hardly any oil. And the golden ticket is when you get the spicy one. These shishito peppers are not usually spicy, but they say 1 out of 10 comes off to be spicy. Though I never had a chance to eat the spicy one. Most of these pepper is sweet in flavor with a thin skin & gorgeous green in color. You can make it with just with some salt & lemon juice. Or you can add some extra flavoring like Za’atar Seasoning, Garlic Powder, etc., to elevate the flavors even more. Either way, they are just too perfect & addictive, just like roasted potatoes.
